Children 3.5 to 7 years of age have the opportunity to spend M/W afternoons from 3:30-5:25 pm exploring the forest, developing their confidence, and laying the foundation for a lifelong appreciation of nature. We spend 95-100% of our time outdoors, enjoying the seasons no matter the weather! Forest School gives children a chance to experience place-based education, encouraging them to love the process of learning while in an outdoor setting.
TNC’s Forest School follows the Tenafly Public School district policies for vacations and weather/emergency related delays/closings. This series meets regularly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from September 10 to December 12, with a closure on 10/3, 11/7, and 11/28. If TNC cancels any classes, two makeup dates are available on 12/17 and 12/19, 2024.
