Adults and families with children 10 and up- brush up on your bird identification skill in preparation for the Great Backyard Bird Count. Learn some key identification marks through the use of field guides and bird study skins. Observe a live raptor at close range to hone identification marks and skills, the visit Tenafly Nature Center bird feeders to test your skills.
Online registration is no longer available, but space is still available in the program. Interested families are welcome to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the program start time to register and pay with cash or check.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Bring binoculars if you have them; if not we can loan you a pair. Rain or shine.
