Join TNC and Hackensack Riverkeeper for a special spring treat. Eco-cruises have become famous for showcasing the amazing environment and bio-diversity that exists right around us in New Jersey. On this fully-narrated tour you will see migrating waterfowl, turtles, snakes, & birds of prey

making their nests along bridges.

Captain Bill Sheehan started Eco-Cruises in 1994 to increase awareness of the lower Hackensack River as a vital natural and recreational resource. Since then more than 50,000 people have traveled with us. Eco-Cruises include 2 ½ hours on the water and are fully narrated by either Capt. Bill or Program Director Capt. Hugh Carola – both of whom are US Coast Guard-licensed captains

This program is for children & adults. Due to coast guard regulations all participants must pay, regardless of age. Beer & white wine permitted.

This program leaves from the River Barge Park & Marina, located at 260 Outwater Lane in Carlstadt, NJ  Children ages 4 and up please.  Food & alcohol is permitted on boat, however no hard alcohol or red wine.
