Join TNC and Dinosaurs Rock! for 3 days of DINOSAURS, OCEANS AND GEMSTONES! Budding paleontologist will dig for fossils, polish amber and more! Day 1 - Dinosaurs Rock! Day 2 - Oceans Rock! Day 3 - Insects and Gemstones Rock!
Each day starts with a highly interactive & educational presentation followed by an extraordinary “DIG” where you will dig, find, identify and keep and huge array of fossils (including dinosaur bone, fossil shark teeth, fossil clams, petrified wood and even real Megalodon Shark Teeth!), as well as gemstones (rubies, emeralds, quartz, amethyst, citrine) and sea shells depending on the day you attend.
We’ll take a brief snack break (bring a good healthy snack!) and then we’ll do Amazing activities and crafts including breaking open crystal filled geodes to keep, polishing real prehistoric Amber (you might even find a insect), dig into shale we bring in from our dig site in Utah to find 500 Million Year Old TRILOBITE Fossils, make your own fossil shark tooth necklace and much more.
See up close amazing Dinosaur Skulls, dino claws, dino footprints, dino eggs, dino poop, dino bone etc. You’ll also touch a shark without getting bitten. Pet a stingray without getting stung. See amazing sea life up close as well as Giant Insects from around the world & amazing gemstones.
