Program will be starting at 11:00 am
Participants are encouraged to bring:

Cotton or natural fabric towel, mat, or blanket to sit or lie on the earth and during the sound bath

a personal water bottle

a journal and pen to record insights or creative expression
Forest Bathing, or Shinrin-Yoku, is a meditation practice developed in Japan in the 1980's. Forest Bathing does not involve any physical bathing, but a mental bath in a serene forested environment designed to help you slow down, de-stress and reconnect to your natural self.
Forest Bathing affords you the time necessary to heal and fortify your mind, body, and soul in a natural setting while under the guidance and mentoring of experienced guide Thomas Schuchaskie, who at times will be unseen, but still around, allowing you time to be “alone.”
The Gong Bath is waves of sonic vibrations that, when paired with intention and played therapeutically, allows the mind, body, and senses to expand and align in a natural healing balance. Your sound healing guide and Gong Specialist, Nechama Karp, will introduce you to gentle guided body and breath awareness–integral for your optimal preparedness to enjoy your gong listening experience. The sound of the gong played this way produces a spontaneous state of meditation and integration that only requires you to relax and listen.
