This Autumn, TNC invites residents of Bergen County and beyond to continue the celebration of 60 years! Join us for an interpretive history walk of the nature preserve that started it all. Palisade Interstate Park Commission Historical Interpreter Eric Nelsen will lead a guided 1½-2 hour (approximately 2 miles) walk along the trails of TNC. Program is intended for adults ages 18 and up.




Participants will stop for a rest at Haring Rock. This peaceful hike encourages reflection and connections with the natural history of the preserve. Program will be held entirely outdoors. Social distancing in effect. Masks required when distance cannot be maintained. In case of inclement weather, the walk will be rescheduled.  Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
