Join Tenafly Nature Center for its first ever geocaching event! Geocaching is an outdoor treasure hunt. Participants navigate, using GPS-enabled devices, to a set of coordinates in order to find hidden containers, called geocaches. Program intended for adults and families with children 5 and up. Beginners welcome.
TNC’s Cache In Trash Out event will focus on litter clean-up and having fun while finding geocaches. In order to view coordinates and location information participants must join as a FREE member at geocaching.com. Each person or family should also bring a GPS-enabled device. As some geocaches may be off-trail we suggest wearing appropriate clothing and footgear.
