Children ages 8 and up can enjoy this hands-on workshop at TNC where science meets nature! Through fun and interactive activities, children will learn about local conservation efforts like runoff and invasive species and how we can protect the habitat around us.
Run experiments exploring erosion and how environmental issues emerge, test real pond samples from Pfister’s pond, and explore the technology protecting our environment every day. Children will learn the basics of electronics and create their own circuits to bring home.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. This program will take place outdoors. For your convenience, strollers can be parked on the porch. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot in advance. We’re excited to have you join us!
