When school is out, the adventure begins for children in 1st-6th grade!
Our School Break Camps offer a fun, hands-on way for young children to keep learning and exploring in nature.
Campers will hike Tenafly Nature Center’s scenic trails, observe wildlife, create seasonal crafts, enjoy story time, and play engaging games—all while discovering the wonders of the environment. Fall-themed activities may include meeting live animals, exploring colorful leaves, and investigating our forest and pond habitats. Every day brings new discoveries in our outdoor classroom—don’t miss out on this unforgettable seasonal experience! Space is limited, so sign up early!
Camp will be outdoors. Children must be bathroom independent-staff do not go into the restroom with campers.
Full Day $106/day Full day is 9:00 am-3:00 pm
Children should bring a refillable water bottle, two snacks, and lunch. Layers and rain gear are recommended (rain boots, jacket, hat, etc.). A Winter Camp Participant Daily Checklist.pdf can be found on our school break day camp web page. Rain or shine.

This is where you will tell us about your camper, fill out health information, emergency contacts, other important safety data, and submit the following required files: Mandatory Health Form from your child’s health care provider. Including an Immunization History:
Failure to submit all forms to TNC 7 days before the first day of camp will result in forfeiture of your registration fee. No exceptions.
