    Program is intended for adults and children 9 and up. In case of inclement weather the program will be cancelled.

Learn how bats use echolocation to play a vital ecological role as the only flying mammal in New Jersey through a presentation by a TNC Environmental Educator. Then, walk along one of our trails and use a sonar detector to search for signs of bat life. Program is intended for adults and families with children 5 and up. 




Please dress for the weather, program is both in and outdoors. Rain or shine.

Online registration is no longer available but limited space is still available. Interested families are welcome to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the program start time to  register and pay with cash or check.
