Honor and Legacy Benches at Tenafly Nature Center
Members and visitors often ask how they can honor or memorialize loved ones in this special place they love. The bench program offers this option in special locations on our almost 400-acre preserve while creating a uniform look that blends into our natural landscape.
Support our mission and honor a loved one by donating a Recognition Bench to Tenafly Nature Center. Your 100% tax deductible donation goes to provide a beautiful memorial for a loved one or special occasion.
Bench Donation Amount
TNC will provide with a commitment of care for 5 years
- Trail Bench $2,000
- Traditional Bench $3,000
Products are manufactured from recycled materials. The color is an approximate as actual color may vary.
Installation of Your Bench
Once you have made your donation, it will take our staff six to eight weeks to complete installation of your bench. We will notify you by email or phone once the installation is done.
Once you donate a Recognition Bench, the bench becomes the property of Tenafly Nature Center. Best efforts will be made to ensure that your bench is properly maintained. However, we cannot be responsible for loss due to weather, vandalism, etc.
Your donation amount, listed above, covers a commitment of care for 5 years. One month prior to your term expiration, a renewal invoice will automatically be emailed.
